  1. I like the way the crawling text at the bottom explicitly contradicts what Eland is saying, by stating that unmarked NATO planes are dropping arms to the insurrectionts.

  3. In his latest column for Antiwar.com, he, ironically, disparages the “lamestream media” because it often “often parrots what government officials blather.”

A very bad case of the “alternative” pot calling the mainstream kettle black.

  4. I wish I could edit my original comment, and not just because of the typo at the end. The text box on Russia Today’s CrossTalk is not a “crawling text” box but a static one. And I could give the exact time in the video when the text about unmarked planes dropping arms to the insurrectionists appears. I could compare that to the exact time that Eland says he doesn’t believe the US is directly helping them. Plus, that statement in the text box is immediately preceded by another one, which equally explicitly contradicts what Eland is saying, although I can’t remember exactly what it is. I ought to go through the video again and annotate it properly, just to really rub it in that Russia Today see right through all his pious agnosticism.
